Comments: I
bought this Zenith 12S232 tombstone on Ebay in August, 2007. It was a
highly contended
auction with 30 bids. The seller was the grandson of the original owner. His grandfather left him not only this beauty, but a wonderful Zenith 12S267 console. My efforts to buy the console were not successful despite a very nice offer. This tombstone is in excellent, original condition. When you look at the picture, you would think the finish was restored, but believe me, its a fine example of a survivor. No doubt this condition status is due to the one family ownership of this special radio. I am a real Zenith guy, and to add this to my collection is a real thrill. **WARNING**
Please pay very special attention when buying this model. There are a
number of forgeries based on the 7 and 9 tube Walton Cabinet. Both cabinet markings and correct speaker type are essential to confirm authenticity of this rare and very expensive Zenith tombstone.
