Comments:
I
purchased this Ozarka model 93 in June 2007 and it is one of the highlights
of my collection.
It
is a large, ornate radio measuring 20 inches high and weighing over
40lbs. The cabinet has very
rich walnut veneer with elaborate trim work. The finish is 100% original.
Some of this trim work has
flaked away, and this will be repaired in the coming months. The chassis
is copper plated and has a
7-tube configuration. It is clear that no expense was spared in the
production of this wonderful cathedral.
Priliminary research on this cathedral does not reveal much information.
I found only several references
to it on the internet. If anyone has photographs, marketing material
or other documentation relating to
this radio, I would very much like to hear from you.
